Ikebana Taster Workshop
Discover the serene art of Japanese flower arranging. This introductory session is perfect for beginners curious about Ikebana.
Ikebana dates back to the sixth century when Buddhist monks made floral offerings for altars. There is great importance on seasonality, minimalism, and thoughtful placement of stems that is in tune with nature.
You'll learn the fundamental principles and basic techniques to create your own beautiful and balanced arrangements. This workshop is designed to give you a taste of Ikebana, focusing on core skills rather than advanced mastery. No prior experience is necessary – just bring your enthusiasm!
Delve into this gentle and important art form and step back from your busy life. Unwind, connect with nature, and enjoy learning something new. We encourage using your creativity and personal touch while being aware of the basic principles of Ikebana when making your arrangement.
The workshop will be led by our expert florists who will be on hand throughout the workshop to assist you in creating your own unique arrangement. They will introduce you to the main techniques and principles of Ikebana flower design so you can create your own masterpiece.
All materials and tools will be provided including seasonal flowers and foliages, bowl and pin holder. Soft drinks, fizz and nibble will be provided.

Pumpkin Arranging Workshop
We are so happy to welcome you all again to The Moxy Finnieston with our sell out Pumpkin Arrangement Workshop.
Come along and make your own beautiful fresh flower sustainable arrangement inside of a seasonal pumpkin- just in time to decorate your home for Halloween.
The workshop will start with a quick demonstration of different floristry techniques on how to arrange your flowers within the pumpkin shell. Each pumpkin will be prepared and hollowed out to be used as a vase, with a large selection of seasonal fresh flowers, folaiges and accessories for you to create your unique arrangement.
All tools and materials will be provided.
A glass of fizz, soft drink and nibbles will be provided on arrival.
